Banff, Alberta and surrounding areas is one of my absolute favourite destinations, we vacation there annually, so photographing Jenny and Jeff's wedding at The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel was an absolute pleasure. Their wedding, planned with the help of Social and Co. Design was full of timeless elegance and luxury. We began by capturing Jenny and her bridesmaids getting ready in a spacious bridal suite, the beautiful bridal details including her gorgeous Galia Lahav gown, and a stunning invitation suite by Paper Ocelot. We made time for a few bridal lingerie portraits before heading off to her intimate first look with her groom. Their ceremony overlooked a stunning view of the Rocky Mountains, and the scenery was all the couple needed as a backdrop for their vows. We remained in close proximity to the hotel for portraits so that the couple could enjoy t live music before heading to their reception beautifully decorated and filled with florals by Creative Edge Flowers where they dined and danced the night away with their family and friends. We had the pleasure of travelling to Ontario to photograph Monika and Adam's wedding at the beautifully historic Ancaster Mill.

Our day started by capturing both the bride and her bridesmaids and the groom with his groomsmen getting ready as they both had suites at The Barracks Inn; a venue which tied into their weddings aesthetic very well with its architectural charm. Following the pre-ceremony events, we travelled the short distance to the ceremony site at Ancaster Mill where we were greeted by their talented planner Kassia Tjia Events and met with a stunning setting of florals created by Forever Wildfield. A violinist played while guests were seated by the groomsmen. Ancaster Mill has no shortage of beautiful locations for portraits, so we moved throughout the grounds with and without their bridal party before heading in to their stunning wedding reception. "She always had that about her, that look of otherness, of eyes that see things much too far, and of thoughts that wander off the edge of the world."
