bridal details

WEDDING MORNING

An ideal getting ready timeline for photography would be to have us arrive as the bride is having her makeup done. During this time we would begin photographing the gown, bridal details, photojournalistic candids for the bridal party, and the tail end of the bride's makeup.

Bridesmaids and Mother-of-the-Bride should ideally be fully dressed for when the bride is ready to have help getting in to her gown.

It is helpful to have the bridal details that you would like photographed laid out for when we arrive; the following are items to consider:

 - Gown steamed and already hanging

- Veil steamed and hanging

- Robe

- Engagement ring

- Additional bridal jewelry

- Garter

- Perfume

- Hair adornment

- Invitation suite

- Special heirlooms

- Bouquet

- Corsages and boutonnieres

- Gift from the Groom

- Bridal shoes

- Loose florals for styling

- Extra styling items

"NOT ONLY ARE HER PHOTOS BREATHTAKING, BUT SHE ALSO BROUGHT A MYRIAD OF EXPERTISE, RESOURCES, AND CREATIVITY. SHE SCOUTED LOCATIONS FOR US, SENT US A THOROUGH STYLING GUIDE, AND HELPED US NAIL DOWN OUR TIMELINE FOR THE DAY. LISA HAS AN IMMENSE ABILITY TO CAPTURE BEAUTY, WHILE ADDING DEPTH, DETAIL, AND DIMENSION. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A FINE ART WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER."

the experience

A FINE ART WEDDING

What is a fine art wedding?

A fine art wedding is an event that has come together full of harmony and balance. Nature often plays a role in the overall aesthetic bringing gin the colours and textures of the outdoor landscape and involves artictisc attention to quality details. A fine art wedding is often a collaboration of artists working together to realize their clients vision with the appearance of effortlessness yet involve a tremendous amount of time, heart, and effort.

How can I include fine art elements on my wedding day?

Attention to detail and ensuring the style of your wedding day is recognized in every elemont of your wedding is important when curating a fine art wedding. A few elements to consider but are not limited to  would include beautifully styled "undone" organic florals, dewy and rest makeup accompanied by loose windswept hair enhancing your own natural beauty, and invitation suite brought to life by the talent of a calligrapher, beautifully styled tables capes, tailored attire, and a venue with impact, originality, and an abundance of natural light. Overall the main goal is to create a cohesice experience that is both organically beauotfl and timeless.

Who would you recommend for local fine art vendors?

We have been sifting through the community both locally and throughout the country to put together a list of vendors who we feel can help you reach your fine art wedding vision. I have had the pleasure of working with a number of vendors and have selected that I am happy to share with you to help aid your wedding plans.
