As soon as strawberry harvest is ready for the picking you can find us in the river valley strawberry fields collecting as many berries as we can carry. There is something wholesomely therapeutic about picking your food straight from the earth that makes you feel really grounded; and there is nothing on this earth that tastes quite as sweet as a fresh picked strawberry.
Constantly in the state of composing experience and memories for our two little girls, we began the annual tradition of berry picking right before our firstborns third birthday; which we handed out as favours to our guests. We have continued this berry picking tradition for her fourth and fifth birthdays and plan to carry it on for years to come. Strawberry fields forever.
